We hand deliver within a 20km radius of Brisbane CBD. Same day delivery is available for locations within 10km of Brisbane CBD. Plant orders for other locations in Australia (excluding TAS, NT and WA) will be sent via Express Post. Pots and planters can be shipped to all states and territories. Please see our Shipping and Delivery policy for more details. 

All photos displayed are taken by The Green Philo of actual plants for sale, and intended as a representation of what the plant looks like. It is not practical for every plant for sale to be photographed. Unless specifically stated on the product listing, you will receive a plant of similar size, condition and colour; however, there may be differences between batches due to growing conditions and changes in seasons. As plants are growing living things, each one will be unique and have its own slight variations. Minor leaf imperfections are to be expected as just like us humans, no plant is perfect. We propagate and grow many of our own plants, and treat them like our children. You can be assured we will always endeavour to supply the best looking and healthiest plants we have at the time of shipping or delivery.

Each plant profile will include some information on the plant, including basic care instructions. Please note the advice is general in nature, and individual needs may differ depending on environmental factors such as your local climate and where the plant is placed. Plants have their own personalities and the fun part about plant ownership is discovering your plant’s little quirks. It’s Mother Nature’s way of keeping us on our toes! Orders within the Brisbane delivery zone will be hand delivered in plastic nursery pots. 

Plants that are shipped will have most of the soil removed to minimise shipping cost and packed carefully with enough potting media or sphagnum moss to keep them comfortable for their journey. Please note pot sizes in product descriptions refer to what the plants are currently growing in. Plants may be transferred to smaller pots for packaging purposes, and we may choose to send smaller plants in their pots to minimise root disturbance. 

The Green Philo is an environmentally conscious company, and where possible, we will utilise recycled or recyclable packaging such as shredded newspaper or biodegradable packing peanuts. You can find out more about our Shipping and Delivery policy here.

We can combine shipping if it is within the same delivery cut-off and your order has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us if you wish to add to an existing order. Note: combined shipping must be for delivery to the same address.

Absolutely! We know how much you love your plants, so why not share the joy with a loved one and make their day? When adding a product to the cart, you have the option of including a message of your choice. We offer complimentary eco-friendly gift wrapping for deliveries marked as ''gift''. Please ensure your phone number is provided on the order as this is what we will use if there are any issues with delivery.

All orders are delivered with authority to leave. If no one is at home when we deliver, we will leave your order in a safe spot out of direct sunlight.
